Describe in detail what your Organisation does:
Our Core and what we offer
• Training and development (Personal development) on soft skills, financial literacy, home economics and crafty skills
• Counselling through voluntary counsellors
• Job placements through the cleaning company
• Fundraising events like the annual gala dinner on the 4th of August
• Business workshops like the one in Zimbabwe on the 30th of June
• Mentorship programs with different women
• Outreach programs to the community through donations (School hampers for orphans and
disadvantaged children, food and clothes)
We also run a shelter for women in Johannesburg CBD

Yes I do , YALI Network , WYA other local charities where I volunteer
If you had one Organisation wish, what would it be?
To have a sustainable model of all my organisations feeding into each other and making profits to sustain the social work
In your opinion, which skills do Nonprofits in your Country lack?
The mindset to be self -sufficient, Competency and Right exposure
Looking back at your Cause Journey, what advice would you give a newbie Organisation?
I would tell a newbie to really understand the beneficiaries and their needs they intend to work with first , Keep knocking and making noise, Do something that you are passionate about because when challenges come passion will sustain you. Make sure you legally comply and collaborate with others and most importantly always remember that you are brave for having started this and you can make it.
If you could change one thing about the Nonprofit Landscape, what would it be?
Move away from dependency syndrome , run profit driven initiatives too so that you one is not desperate
Which Cause achievement are you most proud of? Feel free to elaborate on why and include any links:
I have run training programs for women before in theory and practical skills . I saw hope in their eyes and that was the most fulfilling thing ever for me. Being able to encourage someone from being hopeless to being hopeful gave me courage to do more. Having also to watch them wanting to pursue more of their desires was worth it.
