Boleng Development Solutions Boleng Development Solutions is a development-focussed organization founded by five (5) members who jointly share a passion for systemic social impact.
Directly translated into English, the Setshwana word Boleng means “value”. The name best defines the work we do at Boleng Development Solutions. We design and deliver on impact driven programmes where our success is measured by the number of lives and communities we change. Our methodology enables us to deliver issue appropriate solutions, add value by focusing on impacting communities and coaching for sustainability.
Our objective is to deliver outcome-based solutions through the design and implementation of tailor-made programmes that address the needs of our clients. We believe in a holistic approach to social impact. This encompasses designing programmes that suit individuals, communities and institutions, gaining buy-in, supporting with implementation of programmes and providing change management and coaching to maximize efficiency. Conducting monitoring and evaluating to ensure the effectiveness of our programmes with the aim of improving sustainability.
We currently run the following programmes:
* School Culture and Leadership Style Programme – 18 month programme
*Ready4Market Programme – 12 modules – short courses
*4th Industrial Revolutions Skills Programme – 10 modules – short courses

Boleng is looking for funding for its School Culture Programme – currently we are running a pilot with 12 schools in Limpopo and we are self-funding. The programme is intended to improve the culture of learner achievement in the schools.

Within 3 months Boleng founders managed to develop 3 research based programmes (including tools, templates and material) that speaks to our motto of “African Solutions for African Challenges” . We managed to secure a partnership with 12 schools in a Limpopo circuit, to pilot our School Culture Programme. This pilot has already started and despite financial challenges, members have persevered in funding the first phase.
