Describe in detail what your Organisation does:
We network women and child at risk focused NGOs and churches across Capetown . We offer the Quality Improvement System capacity building and verification . We organize ourselves collaboratively to find city wide solutions to promote child well being.
How long has your Organisation been operational?
Since 2004.
In your opinion, what has been the most challenging aspect of running your Organisation?
The constantly changing social environment – keeping our structure flexible and adaptable to accommodate this . Working with constrained resources.
Describe your Nonprofit Journey in three words:
Exciting
Challenging

Do you collaborate with other Causes? If yes, would you like to mention them?
Yes with 92 NGOs who are affiliated to us.
If you had one Organisation wish, what would it be?
To not worry about how to pay the bills, this would happen if NGOs were better profiled and respected as peers with government and business.
In your opinion, which skills do Nonprofits in your Country lack?
Good governance.
Looking back at your Cause Journey, what advice would you give a newbie Organisation?
Make sure you have the right people , with the right heart and the right skills.
If you could change one thing about the Nonprofit Landscape, what would it be?
That NGOs would be recognized as equal role players in developments and not as charities.

Our Quality Improvement System. Because we took the risk when we piloted it , we worked hard to co develop it , pressed in to make it successful now we can see the results . It is now run in Nepal, Kampala , Philippines , Bolivia and Costa Rica.
