The FMN capacitates NPO directors and managers in professional fundraising strategies to support them to mobilise financial, material and intellectual resources in a holistic and integrated manner. Our focus is not about training how to raise money but the building of a credible organisation to attract donors to your organisation. Our training focuses on legal compliance, tax compliance, professional fundraising, proposal writing, marketing, effective governance, financial management, accessing government tenders, labour compliance, etc. FMN is managed by volunteers. We do not pay salaries and has no office. Our board is a working board. We have multiple strategic advisors offering their services for free. Members pay R350 per year to join FMN as a paid up member enjoying various benefits. These include regular donor updates, sharing RFPs, discounted or free training, online support, proposal evaluations, etc.
