Describe in detail what your Organisation does:
We specialize in online mentoring to youth at risk, projecting evidence based research and using best practice models for our online course. Our course duration is 12 months. Lifexchange not only design, implement and monitor effective best practice mentoring programs to address specific contexts but believe in empowering other NPO’s, schools and faith based communities to implement these programs themselves, ensuring cost effective and sustainability of projects.

In your opinion, what has been the most challenging aspect of running your Organisation?
The most challenging would be when the mentees don’t show up for regular activities or for weekly contact sessions.

Do you collaborate with other Causes? If yes, would you like to mention them?
We collaborate with children’s homes and communities with high risk school drop outs.
If you had one Organisation wish, what would it be?
For more people to do our online course as it is an amazing tool with a NQF level 4 qualification
In your opinion, which skills do Nonprofits in your Country lack?
I would say the challenge non profits face is to skill themselves to equip their companies to become financially sustainable

If you could change one thing about the Nonprofit Landscape, what would it be?
That is should be taken seriously, just because its a non for profit does not take away the effort that the npo’s put in to make their companies successful
Which Cause achievement are you most proud of? Feel free to elaborate on why and include any links:
One of the achievements is that we have weathered the most daunting economic times. We have been around for 10 years and still continues to make huge progress with the lives we touch. Our aim is to bring back the family unit in young adults – to walk their journey and build trust and by that, we see the amazing changes in some of the most unexpected of youths.
