The Social Justice Initiative (SJI) is a South African non-profit organisation that mobilises resources for social justice work in South Africa. The organisation was created to support initiatives that pursue systematic change towards a just and equitable society. It focuses on three areas: access to justice, accountable governance, and free media. It collaborates with active citizens, high net-worth individuals and private sector in strengthening the voices of civil society and has supported over 80 organisations in South Africa.
