The trust focuses on uplifting worthy South Africans who demonstrate promise and ability. We do this by allowing our beneficiaries to improve their education and skills primarily at tertiary level, which includes everything from adult skills training to university.degrees. As part of the philosophy of the trust we do not ask our candidates to pay back the money, merely a moral obligation to give back to the Trust or their communities and families, by becoming mentors and leaders in their chosen fields. This year we have increased our support for the beneficiaries, by introducing mentorship programmes and workshops. this year we have 27 beneficiaries who have received funding.

Last year we were proud to include Andries Shabangu as a trustee of The Tshepo Trust. He was one of the original beneficiaries who achieved a Chemical Engineering Degree and has a great job with WASAA Gasses. He is a great motivator to our current beneficiaries who see first hand where a good education can take one!
